According to Deadline.com, Richard Tanne (Worst Friends, The Roman) is set to direct the independent feature from his own screenplay; former Warner Independent executive Tracey Bing and indie producer Stephanie Allain (Hustle & Flow, Beyond the Lights) are producing for Allain’s company Homegrown Pictures.

Obama’s Saturday Night Live imitator, Jay Pharoah, certainly has the president’s voice down. Music legend Diana Ross’s son Evan, an actor and musician, could also be a fit.
