　　His apartment is three times as large as mine.

　　他的公寓是我的公寓的三倍大。

　　The girl is ten times cleverer than her brother.

　　There are four times more books in our library than in yours.我们图书馆的藏书是你们图书馆的四倍。

　　【提示】　用times表示倍数时，一般是限于表示三倍或三倍以上的数，表示两倍用twice或double，一倍则用once。句式中表倍数的数字处也可为分数、百分数、half等其他程度状语。

　　This room is half the size of that one.

　　这个房间是那个房间的一半大。

　　The box is one third bigger than that one.

　　这个盒子比那个大三分之一。
