But its latest invention has split opinions - the green burger.

不过，它们最新推出的新品——绿色汉堡获得的评价却是褒贬不一。

The chain is selling green and red buns in its Chinese outlets to honour the upcoming Angry Birds film.

为了向刚上映的愤怒的小鸟电影致敬，麦当劳中国分店近期开始热销绿色汉堡和红色汉堡。

One unimpressed customer posted on Facebook: 'This is usually the colour an uneaten Macdonalds burger looks the morning after a session anyway!'

一个脸书网上的网友发布了自己的试吃感言，他似乎并没有被触动：“一般来说，早上没吃完的汉堡放一段时间，大概就是这个颜色……”

Another wrote, “It's in China: The burgers probably contain actual angry birds.”

还有网友吐槽：“要是在中国，这就是现实版的‘愤怒的小鸟’啊！”

And another said, “Red is considered lucky in China so it may with there I suppose - not so sure about green mind you!”

另有网友说：“红色在中国代表幸运，所以我想应该是这个含义，但绿色就难说了。”

And another wrote on Twitter: 'Not gonna eat that ever in a million years under duress and in a hostage situation.'
