A Danish study published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry found that participants who ate cheese every day for two weeks had higher levels of a chemical called butyrate, which is produced by bacteria in your gut. Butyrate is linked to lower cholesterol levels, and thus healthier hearts.
