2个抗战老同志乘车方队(2 formations of veterans in vehicles)，由大陆遴选的、目前健在的国共两党抗战老兵(the anti-Japanese forces led by the Communist Party of China and the Kuomintang Party)、我党我军和国民党抗日英烈后代(children of fallen soldiers from the CPC and KMT)，以及抗战支前模范代表(outstanding members of forces that supported the front line)组成。

27个装备方队(armament formations)，按照作战体系要求编组，包括地面突击(ground combat)、防空反导(air defense and missile defense)、海上攻击(maritime attacks)、战略打击(strategic strikes)、信息支援(communication support)、后装保障(logistics and armament support)等模块，由陆军(Army)、海军(Navy)、空军(Air Force)、第二炮兵(Second Artillery)、武警部队(Armed Police)和四总部直属部队联合编成，展示的武器装备均为国产主战装备，84%是首次亮相。

10个空中梯队(air echelons)，包括空中护旗方队(air flag guard formation)、领队机梯队(the leading aircraft echelon)、预警指挥机梯队(airborne early warning and control aircraft)、轰炸机梯队(bombers)、歼击机梯队(fighters)、海军舰载机梯队(carrier-based aircraft)、海上巡逻机梯队(maritime patrol aircraft)、加受油机梯队(refueling and receiver echelon)、直升机梯队(helicopters)，涵盖了我军现有先进作战和保障机种。
