Hemingway's spread was shot by photographer Angelo Pennetta and features a more naturalistic look than what has been the magazine's brand in the past, according to the Times, which received an advanced preview of the issue.

One of the most noticeable differences in the new redesign is the fact that the female models are unretouched, giving the magazine a look reminiscent of 'American Apparel ads and fashion photographers like Terry Richardson,' Times reporter David Segal writes.
