TEHRAN, Oct. 6 -- At least five people were injured as a passenger train derailed in Iran's northern province of Qazvin on Saturday, Tasnim news agency reported.
The train, bound for the capital Tehran, derailed shortly after leaving the city of Qazvin on Saturday afternoon.
The incident did not cause serious casualties because of the train's slow speed.
The cause of incident is still under investigation.
In November 2016, two trains collided in Iran's north-central province of Semnan, which killed 45 and injured 103 others.
