今年华为已经推出了多款高端智能手机，其技术规格同三星及宏达国际(HTC)的旗舰产品不相上下。但研究机构Gartner Inc.的数据表明，今年三季度华为只售出了1,190万部手机，其在全球市场所占份额不到3%。

Mr. Fredriksen said its handset business, which last year accounted for a fifth of the company's revenue, grew 37% annually last year, much faster than Huawei's other businesses.

弗雷德里克森表示，华为的手机业务去年全年增长37%，在公司收入中占比为五分之一。这一增速比华为其它业务快得多。

The company is also about to launch its first device running Windows Phone software, which a company spokesman said will hit shelves in the 'coming months.'

华为还将推出其首款搭载Windows Phone操作系统的手机。该公司发言人表示，这款产品将在未来数月上市。

Huawei has faced difficulties in expanding its presence in the U.S. due to national security concerns and cited Europe's open attitude to foreign investment as one of the reasons it has decided to expand in the region.

由于国家安全问题，华为在美国进行业务扩张时面临重重困难。该公司表示，欧洲对外国投资的开放态度是其决定在该地区进行扩张的原因之一。
