Even though I'm 51, I haven't been suffering a lot. I can easily fall asleep on flights, and when I get to my destination, if it's morning, I don't go to bed. If it's evening, I'll get some melatonin. But if it's a short trip, even when I go to New York for only two days, sometimes I don't adjust to the local time.
刘希平:虽然我已经51岁了,但我时差反应不是很大。我在飞机上可以很容易睡着,如果到目的地的时候是早晨,我就不会睡觉。如果是晚上,我会吃一些褪黑素。但如果是短途,比如即便只去纽约两天时间,有时候我也适应不了当地时间。

It was actually because I think my secretary didn't do a good job. I told her, American Airlines is our client, so if it's possible, I want to fly American Airlines. So for a trip to L.A., the secretary booked me on a flight. I flew from Beijing to Shanghai to Chicago and then to L.A. The whole trip took me more than 24 hours. The trip itself was OK, but I don't need that.
刘希平:实际上我觉得是因为我的秘书工作做得不到位。我跟她说美国航空(American Airlines)是我们的客户,所以如果可能的话,我希望乘坐美国航空的航班。所以去洛杉矶的时候,我的秘书帮我订了一趟航班。我从北京飞到上海,再飞到芝加哥,然后到洛杉矶。整个旅途花了我超过24小时。旅途本身还可以,但我不需要这么辗转。
