Mr. Leung also pointed to various measures adopted to try to ventilate the city＊s red-hot property market, including a controversial ※Hong Kong land for Hong Kong people§ pilot policy that restricts the sale of property to Hong Kong residents on certain plots of newly sold land. ※When I raised that, some people objected,§ said Mr. Leung, ※but [it was] implemented after I took office, step by step.§
