Step 1 Warming up
学唱歌曲《one little, two little Indians》导入新
T: How many Indians are there in the song?
S: Ten.
教师板书题Unit 3 How many are there?
设计意图:通过唱歌提高学生的兴趣,即复习了数字词汇,又活跃了堂气氛,使学生很快进入轻松的英语学习氛围中。
Step 2. Presentation
1、 每10个学生为一组,教师要求学生们用英语报数:
T: Hi! Class. How many students are there ?
S1: One.
S2: Two.
S10: Ten.
T: There are ten students.
设计意图:通过学生报数,即复习了十个数字,又使每一位学生都开口讲英语。
